Q2 : Are the wipes without danger for my baby ?
R2 : Yes. The TinyKidz Baby Safe wipe in the kit are used in hospitals in the USA to systematically record the baby prints. And the wipes have been tested in an independant laboratory and have received a CE certification CE as totally inoffensive.

Q3 : How do I choose the colour of the prints ?
R3 : Whilst taking the prints, the foot or hand appears in a grey colour. It is after having scanned the prints that you will be able to modify the colour with the aid of the sofwtare included in the kit (see the instructions and the video on the CD).

Q4 : I don’t know how to use a computer, what do I do ?
R4 : If you have no notion of using a software, you may place the prints as taken directly in the frame without image treatment, or order the option of image treatment and we will do this for you. In this case you should send the prints to TinyKidz by e-mail (or by the post) together with your choice of colours once you have taken received your kit and taken the prints.

Q5 : Is the software easy to use ?
R5 : It is an image treatment sofwtare comparable to Photoshop. Everything is foreseen to ensure that it is as easy as possible. You will find on the CD the instructions step by step with images, as well as a video which shows you everything that you need to do.

Q6 : How many prints may I take with a wipe ?
R6 : Once open, the wipe can be used during approximately 30 minutes. During this time, you can take as many sets of prints as you have place on the paper.. Think to wipe the foot or hand between prints.

Q7 : How many prints can I place on a sheet ?
R7 : This depends on the age of the child and hence the size of their hands or feet. If it is a newborn baby, typically you can make upto 6 prints.

Q8 : Can I use the TinyKidz kit to take adult prints ?
R8 : Yes. You can take prints of everyone : dad, mum, grandad; nanna and even your four legged friends !!

Q9 : I have two children. Can I use the same wipe for both of them ?
R9 : Once open, the wipe can be used during approximately 30 minutes. During this time, you can take as many sets of prints as you have place on the paper . Otherwise, simply order a recharge kit.

Q10 : I’m unable to install the software. What should I do ?
R10 : If for some reason the software and / or instructions can not be read on the CD, you can download them here.

Q11 : I already have a TinyKidz frame with the prints of my baby and I’d like to retake the prints now that he/she is older. What should I order ?
R11 : As you already have a frame kit, you no longer need to order the sofwtare and you can simply order a recharge kit. You modify the new prints with the same sofwtare as included in your TinyKidz Frame Kit.

Q12 : Does the software function with all computers ?
R12 : The software should run on any NT-based version of Windows (NT4, 2000, XP or Vista). Older GIMP versions (2.0.x) could also work with older versions of Windows such as Windows 95 but they are not supported anymore. A minimum of 128 MB of RAM is recommended, but the more RAM the better.

Q13 : I don’t have a scanner, what should I do ?
R13 : If you don’t have a scanner, either you place the black prints directly in the frame, either you order the option of image treatment and you send us the prints and the photo paper in the kit by post together with your choice of image treatment (colour, font, text) and your order number.

Q14 : Can I use the software for anything else ?
R14 : The software included in the kit is simply very good and the possibilities are endless. It allows you to modify photos such as changing into black & white, taking away red eye, reframing ..... and lots more.

Q15 : I fudged the print taking, what should I do ?
R15 : You already have the sofwtare so all you need to do is order a recharge kit for takingt he prints.

Q16 : How do I choose my birth announcement card ?
R16 : On your CD-Rom, you will find .. files containing all the templates for the birth announcement cards. You open the card of your choice and integrate the prints as described by the instructions. You even have the possibility of several birth announcement cards with different images and text and so send different birth announcement cards as a function of who willreceive them (a special one off model for your parents for example).

Q17 : How many times can I print the feet and hands ?
R17 : As a function of the frame kit that you have ordered (1 place or 3 place), you have one or three sheets of photo paper to print the photos. If you wish to print more examples you only have to use your own photo paper with the same dimensions. You maytherefore offer your baby prints to your parents, godfather, godmother ...

Q18 : The video doesn’t work, what should I do ?
R18 : The video is recorded as a VLC media file(.avi) and requires an application that accepts this format – GOM Player, Lecture Windows Media, Microsoft Video, Nero Show Time .... If you try to open with Windows Movie Maker for example this does not accept this format. In this case you need to right click the video file and select properties, select modifier, then select an alternative program, then validate. You can find suitable applications which can be downloaded free of charge on the internet.

Q19 : I can’t open the instructions file. What should I do ?
R19 : To open the instructions, you need Acrobat Reader which you can find on the CD-Rom inside the kit. To install this, double click on the icon. You may also download Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com/en/ or here.
